The Story of Crossbrook:

James Page better known as Jim or Jimmy to his many friends founded Crossbrook Insurance Brokers in March 1953. He started with the philosophy of trading on the image of a small family run high street business relying on passing trade and 'word of mouth' for attracting new customers.

In March 2003 we celebrated fifty years in business with large articles in all the local papers. Jim sadly died in September that year, but his wife Audrey continues to run the company together with son Tim (who joined the company in 1985) and Tim's daughter Vicki (who joined in 2000), so making three generations of Page's. Crossbrook also employs an extra 3 full time and 1 part time staff.

Our Philosophy:

As a broker, we believe that we can offer you a better service with direct contact with any one of our members of staff, on the telephone, by email or face to face. We have a dedicated renewals consultant, claims handler and accounts manager as well as 3 quotation specialists who have access to over 40 insurers with over 150 different schemes. 

Although we have relied on traditional means of attracting business, we also recognise the need to be modern in our approach and incorporate the latest and most up-to-date computer systems in our office. We also pride ourselves in the way we run our business with modern techniques of self-promotion resulting in a successful business with many satisfied and loyal customers.

We also believe that we can offer you a more personal service than many direct, supermarket, bank, building societies or Internet only insurers, who simply use large impersonal call centres.

At present we only offer a limited selection of quotations online as we prefer to speak to you so as we can assess your needs more accurately and give you a more individual quotation.
