James Page better known as Jim or Jimmy to his many friends founded Crossbrook Insurance Brokers in March 1953. He started with the philosophy of trading on the image of a small family run high street business relying on passing trade and 'word of mouth' for attracting new customers.

In March 2003 we celebrated fifty years in business with large articles in all the local papers. Jim sadly died in September that year, but his wife Audrey continues to run the company together with son Tim (who joined the company in 1986) and Tim's daughter Vicki (who joined in 2000), so making three generations of Page's.

Although Crossbrook has traditionally been a personal lines broker, in March 2009 we expanded into commercial insurance, employing a full time commercial lines manager and assistant. In addition to our 3 directors Crossbrook also employs an additional 7 full time and 2 part time staff.
